Bayberry Candles are made from Pure Bayberry Wax with a small amount of
beeswax added for stability. No additional scent is added, which makes
them 100% natural. The scent is subtle compared to the sometimes heavily
scented candles that many are use to burning. In general, Scented means
a scent is added to a wax blend and real or natural means the candle is
made with bayberry wax with no additional scent or dye added.
Many
times people are forced to settle for Bayberry Scented candles (which
we also carry at 1/3 of the price), especially when approaching the
holiday season. The Real Bayberry wax Hand-Dipped Bayberry Candles are Pure Bayberry Wax mixed with just a hint of beeswax to create that ideal holiday scene.

Colonial Candle Of Cape Cod's Bayberry Story
Long
ago, on historic Cape Cod, a heartwarming Christmas tradition was
begun. Wild bayberries grew in abundance in thickets in the sandy woods
along the North Atlantic coast. One inspired Cape Cod women, Mrs. Mabel
Baker, picked these wild bayberries, boiled them in her kitchen, and
lovingly made hand-dipped Bayberry Taper Candles to give as Christmas
gifts to her friends and family. Cherished for their fine quality,
smooth velvety appearance, and pleasing natural fragrance, these coveted
candles became well known on the Cape.
The tradition of Bayberry
Candles began 100 years ago, where the art and science of candle making
