- I would like to let anyone buying a cape cod candle know that you will want to buy most, if not all of the scents. The first time I smelt one of these candles, I stayed in the store (over an hour) to smell each scent. That is how good these candles smell. They are so much like the scent that is on the label it's unreal. I don't like many candles because they are overly scented or they don't smell anything like the fragrance that is on the candle label. Buy one and you won't be disappointed. I'm giving a rating of 10!
- A lot of people don't know the tradition of burning a BAYBERRY candle to bring in a good year.I hate to think it'd be forgotten. It was always said that you started small bayberry candle on new years eve and never put it out,but let it burn completely down,and out on its own. It must burn into the New Year. It was said to bring in a good year,health,prosperity,etc. Look it up and see if you think its worth mentioning this old time tradition.
